Survivor
Participants meet in the foyer of the hotel where they will be transferred to a unique, privately owned rainforest Nature Park, to compete in the “Survivor challenge”. On arrival at the property, guests disembark at “the Billabong”, a rustic timber structure where they will be briefed. The VP will ride in on a Quad bike flying the conference flag. He will then join the head facilitator to outline the challenges ahead. Teams will be allocated a schedule of events, “survivor Kit” and cryptic clues before setting off into the jungle, some by hummer vehicle and some by quad bike to separate areas. Their aim is to be the first team to reach the hidden site, with a complete puzzle map.
The winning team for each activity will be rewarded with a piece of the puzzle map, as well as other prizes like water pistols, boomerangs and magic keys. The magic key allows the team to collect a “bonus” piece of the puzzle map from the judges. The challenge consists of 9 activities, each being contested by 2 teams at a time head to head. Activities include: Bike Challenge, letter scramble, warball, pirates treasure chest, bucket madness, plank walk, Boomerang throwing, “Robin Hood” and Race across the River. Each team will be assigned a leader, to assist them around the course, and to monitor and score their progress. Qualified staff will ensure the safety of the competitors, both around the water-based activities, and on land. On completing all activities, participants will end up back at the Billabong for some refreshments and a debrief. Winners will be announced and prizes awarded!
